I'm a multimodal artist with a focus on creating unique works for radical groups.

The groups and in turn my works are centered around the principles of solidarity and mutual aid, with a specific focus on employing direct action as a response to the antagonisms of governments - most recently the british conservative torygarchs.

 

My work primarily accompanies creative trespass as a prefigurative action; with an intention to, through different mediums, present new models for life. To call into question the contradictions of the possessed and the dispossessed; to ask how we can alternatively engage the world, each other, and ourselves.

The work prefigures models of a better world, empowering and representing the groups and their work.

 

For example, creating custom masks for a radical group means creating a sense of belonging, underlines the action's meaning while giving recognition to each individuality within the group. It contributes to the radical joy of resistance and strengthens people's enthusiasm.

These emotions are felt by the outside world and rendered through the lens of the media.

It aims to inspire more prefigurative actions, to empower people to seek and build their own visions of a better world. 

 

In the case of creative trespass, it means actively using the rights most threatened by legislators to help each other, rather than simply asking for help from the government which reacts with indifference, inertia or repression.

My most recent works intend to show the heart of an action, simultaneously clarifying the motivations and intentions of the individual participants whilst obscuring their identities.
